Here we showcase some of the sites that we own which are interesting for various reasons. To look at the work we've done for our clients, please see our case studies.
Some of the following sites - and a whole bunch of other stuff - are on our GitHub!
A babysitting application for Twitter accounts. You sign in with your Twitter account. You can configure responders which are automatic replies to your mentions, grabbers which reply to any tweet matching your specified keywords and jingles which tweet out randomly when your account has been quiet for a while.
Interesting for its unique tweet input and tweet output options.
Strictly for the freaks and the geeks this one. A JavaScript reimagining of a very old programming game called CROBOTS. You must win by programming your robot to destroy all the other robots on the battlefield. Told you it was for the geeks!
Interesting for the very technical - and graphical - JavaScript going on.
A place to share and discover fun things to see and do in the UK. With user submissions, reviews, maps and forums.
Interesting for the different and easy ways that venues can be submitted.
A cunning blend of Google Maps, Japanese government geodata and JavaScript labels to power an English language enabling of the Google Maps map of Japan. This means that places on the map are labelled in English and that searches can be performed in English. Interestingly, when Mapanese was first released the basic Google Maps map of Japan didn't have English labels on it. A year or so after release, the basic Google Maps map of Japan started to have English labels on it! Hmmm... ;-)
Interesting for the natural language processing that spans two languages.
A social networking site for expats in Japan where venues can be reviewed and added. The twist is that all of the information submitted can be viewed in Japanese too. This gives it more of a "meet the locals" or "meet the visitors" vibe.
Interesting for being effortlessly bilingual.
